whatever i had, i had to let go
just to get back in the flow
stress!
tension! material possessions
are piling a mile high, galvanic...
tower of babel...
buildings were buildings so tall on their own
they broke holes, through the sky, the ozone
i bleed as blue as the sky...
if i don't leave here soon i will die
god's punishing me for working too hard
i need to relax
speed off the gas pedal, settle...
objects seem far, they come into focus
breathing, changing their shape
smearing, all colors were broken
everyone near started smoking...
smoke rises out of the ashtray
there's tar in the breath of a beautiful lady
my char-broiled paycheck is gravy
trapped in a body
wrapped up in flesh, i feel godly
but there's cracks in my steps
gets really wobbly
fluctuate, bounce, starting to dry
rip my clothes off and i dive
through the riptide
god's punishing me, but god is inside of me...
how does this make any sense?
now is the time to describe this intensity
the power inside has been alive thoughout centuries
who tries to blind our identities of "gods"
we have the magic within
to make babies and napalm, "gods"
